VMware backup failures with status code 200
Having a heck of a time trying to figure this out. 14 of my 21 VMware policies are failing with a status code 200 for some reason. Credentials are good and we can do a test query with no issues. Windows 2012 VMware Backup Host 5.5 Update 2 7.6.0.2 and I verified the VDDK is 5.5.0 I have attached all of the logs that would actually run. I cranked VXMS up to 5, but no log was created as I am guessing it just doesnt get that far into the process. Hi, https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100047875 Above document mentions a Direct Migration mechanism from NetBackup CloudCatalyst to MSDP Cloud, which will be available in a future NetBackup release. It also mentions that the NetBackup server upgrades to 9.0 and later releases arenot supported for CloudCatalyst servers. Also, as mentioned in NetBackup 9.0 Deduplication guide, Cloud Catalyst section has removed from NetBackup 9.1 Deduplication guide. However, the above document is not updated recently. Appreciateif someone can help me with the information related to "NetBackup CloudCatalyst to MSDP Cloud Direct Migration" mechanism, If it is available now, or in which release it might be available. Thanks, SandaruSolved2KViews0likes7CommentsNetbackup Deduplication Engine takes lot of time to load into memory
Hello, I just wanted to know why Netbackup Deduplication Service(spoold) takes time to load into memory.(To start completely) I have seen sometimes it took more than 4 hours to start, when checking in Windows Task Manager the memory for spoold.exe is increasing gradually. Thanks & Regards Sujit2.5KViews2likes8CommentsOpscenter/netbackup - SQL query to have a weekly report: Policy with start Time and End Time
Hello, The goal is to have a gantt diagramm (made with excel)for the last weekthat show for each policy the start time and the end time. I found some report on opscenter to have this kind of information but only by client. I would like to have a SQL query that give me these informations on a policy basis. Exemple: Policy name Start Time End Time (or duration) Policy 1 27.07.2015 22:00 27.07.2015 23:18 Policy 2 27.07.2015 22:30 27.07.2015 23:01 Policy 1 28.07.2015 22:00 28.07.2015 23:19 .... Do you have any idea on the best/easiest way to do that? Regards JaySolved4.2KViews0likes12CommentsHyper V guest only showing shares in resources
BE 2014 Sp 2 Host Hyper-V server 2012 with 4 server 2012 guests. All have the latest updates. All agents have been updated and are advertising to the backup server. 3 of the guests show all resources while the file serveronly shows the shares. No other resources are showing up. I would like to backup only the shares on the file server, but selecting the shares causes the job to fail with "resourses cannot be found" Credentials at the server level pass, but fail for the shares. Backing up the whole guest from the host works. On other servers I am able to chose the volume and select the shares from there. but on this server no volumes are showing up. The offending server also takes a long time to show the shares when editing the backup job (10 min) Am at a loss and would appreciate any and all help.Solved1.9KViews0likes7CommentsUse RMAN to backup number of copies of archive log

I've to say that we have a STU type of BasicDisk and I don't want to use SLP approach. Is there any suggestions you can make? Thanks in advance.1.2KViews0likes4Comments
