hola, acabo de crear mi cuenta por lo que apenas me estoy familiarizando en este foro. espero y alguien me pueda ayudar, quiero recuperar un arhivo pst que por error se borro, lo que hice cargar una imagen en el disco donde estaba el archivo por lo que se borro toda la informacion y se cargo la imagen que tengo para restablecer los equipos de fabrica. si alguien le ha pasado y puedo recuperar la informacion les agradeceria que me compartiera como puedo recuparar la informacion. gracias, saludos.

hello All - Are there any books that i can buy for the symantec exams such as: the new backup exam for be 12? I checked the price lists and at 3500 for the instructor or the virutal classes, its simply out of my range. all of my certifications have come from self study and (many many many) hours in the lab and on the job. In Symantec site i have checked and found the certification exam is available only for 6.5. Can anyone please tell me that is there any certification exam for Veritas NetBackup for the version 6.0 for Unix as well as Windows ? How many certifications currently available ?
Question about Norton Popup "Get your Norton Toolbar back!"?
Operating system is Windows Vista. (I know, poor me!) Yesterday I started getting a popup message that states: "Changes in the latest version of Googl Chrome require re-installing the Norton Toolbar from the Chrome Web Store. Click "Install Now" to get your full web protection back in your browser." QUESTION: Since I don't recall having the Norton Toolbar displayed and the popup looks strange, I am concerned about clicking on it, even to close it. Is this a legitimate message from Symantec? It's taking up about 1/4 of my screen and is difficult to work around. Thank you.
Sending files to Veritas for technical support cases using https, sftp, ftp
Please see Methods to provide data for Technical Support cases (KMdoc 000097935) for more details about how to send files to technical support cases. These methods have changed in the last year or so. Direct file transfer to an existing case via the My.Veritas web portal using existing Veritas Account credentials. Direct file transfer using a file transfer website ( https://mft.veritas.com ) Direct file transfer using SecureFTP (sftp://sftp.veritas.com). File transfer during an active Webex support session FTPtransfer to a designated folder using credentials provided by Technical Support. Other product specific methods are also available. When a case is opened on the my.Veritas.com web portal files can be directly uploaded by the case contact using https. Other methods require the agent to send an "Evidence Request" from the case or provide extra details prior to use. Please note that the plain ftp upload service is now only available on ftp.veritas.com, is subject to acceptance of a legal disclaimer statement, and should not be used when the https or sftp service could be used. See "How to use ftp.veritas.com to provide files to Veritas - March 2016 onward" (KMDoc000106883) for details and limitation of the ftp service. Email attachments over 5MB sent to Veritas support will be rejected at the service gateway. File can be collected from support using the https & sftp services described above.
