Apache doesn't start
Hi! I got a VCS configured with apache web server agent. I tried to put it online (from command line it works) in the cluster and I see the following in the Apache_A.log 2016/06/16 12:45:52 VCS ERROR V-16-10061-20318 Apache:ApacheDMZ:online:<Apache::Start> Could not determine Apache Version. 2016/06/16 12:45:52 VCS ERROR V-16-10061-20133 Apache:ApacheDMZ:online:Failed to online resource Anyone can tell me why is it? Unable to start VCS on one Node. Its two node cluster
I have recently installed VCS on two blade 1500. I am unable to start VCS on both machine at the same time. If I start systemA, I noticed VCS started and on systemB unable to start. VCS stop and service group offline quesiton
I have a quick question regarding service group offline. We only want to bring up/down services when we execute hagrp -online/-offline manually. When VCS shutdown, we don't want to bring up the service offline. I know if we freeze it won't go to offline entry. Do we have any other option? For an exmaple, for only we can disable the autostart. Hello Experts, As part of a monitoring solution, we have been relying upon the presence of below registry keys to detect presence of a VCS on Windows, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VC HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VCS\Base This however seems to be unreliable leading to false positives. VCS on Linux using NPAR and VLAN tagging
I’m trying to enable a new configuration using NPAR and VLAN tagging to create private heartbeat networks. Which tool should I use to create my heartbeat interfaces which need to be vlan tagged? We're running VCS 4.1 MP2 on Solaris. We have 4 nodes connected via a fibre fabric to 3 arrays. Each one of these arrays has a small LUN and we've put all three of these LUNs in to a fencedg disk group. This is the diskgroup we have in /etc/vxfendg. This all works well when there are no failures. Today one of our arrays failed so we were down to only 2 disks in our fencing DG. When one of our nodes was rebooted it couldn't start it's fencing driver, which I believe was because only 2 disks were found in the fencing DG. So I'm wondering how best to solve this. We'll shortly be adding another array so we could then have 4 disks in the DG, but 4 isn't an odd number, so that's out. If we put 5 disks in the fencing DG (so put 2 on one array, and 1 on the other three), that'd seem to work. Unless an array fails and we get a split brain at the same time, at which point we only have 4 disks and the fight over the co-ordinator disks could tie. SFHA 6.1 / MirrorView Agent supported over Windows 2012 R2?
Hi, I see on SORT that the MirrorView agent is supported on Windows 2102 with SFHA 6.1 or 6.0.2, but i don't see an official support with Windows 2012R2. I installed a NetBackup cluster (7604) with SFHA 6.1 on Windows 2012R2 and the MirrorView agent does not retrieve the good status of my MV Group. If i copy/paste the same command on cmd, all is OK.
