How do you register? 1) Visit Http://www.Prometric.com/Symantec 2) Select the Administration of Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 (251-311) beta exam 3) Select the location of the nearest test center 4) Login How long will the exam take to complete? Please make sure that you have 3½ to 4 hours available for completion of the beta exam. How much knowledge and skill do I need to take the beta exam? Knowledge, skill, and experience vary from individual to individual. During the beta exam, Symantec seeks all candidates who are interested. This includes candidates who are considered above qualified, below qualified, and minimally qualified. How long will the beta exam be available? The beta exam opened for registration on April 7th and will close on May 5th. You must register for and complete the exam by the end of business on May 5th, 2008. What’s in it for you when you become a BETA candidate? There is an opportunity to view the exams in their entirety and to comment on each of the questions. Opportunity to take the Beta exam for FREE to the 1st 70 beta testers. hello All - Are there any books that i can buy for the symantec exams such as: the new backup exam for be 12? I checked the price lists and at 3500 for the instructor or the virutal classes, its simply out of my range. all of my certifications have come from self study and (many many many) hours in the lab and on the job. In Symantec site i have checked and found the certification exam is available only for 6.5. Can anyone please tell me that is there any certification exam for Veritas NetBackup for the version 6.0 for Unix as well as Windows ? How many certifications currently available ?
Unable Access Second Partition After Formatting Primary Partition
I recently had fully encrypted hard disk (Toshiba mq01abd075), operating system (Windows 7 Professional), two partition. C (146 GB) and D (548 GB) and 4 GB Unallocated space. I ran the system restore for partition C, after which I was unable to access the operating system. I reinstalled the operating system partition C. I installed PGP WDE, when I entered in the program, partition D does not appear to be decrypted. Partition D appears in My Computer (0 bytes), in computer management at disk management appear 548 GB RAW. If I double click on it ask me for Format, but i've never click Yes, so the second partition was never touch after the problem.After this I reinstalled twice the OS. Now I have windows 8.1 but stil,but still I have not touch the second partition. I've tried to decrypt the drive with a few tutorials such as(WinPE and put the hard disk as second partition): http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH170574 http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH149478 Give me various errors suchs as: "Could not locate valid BGFS record. Recovey failed! Operation recover disk failed: Error code -11984 item not found" or "Disk 1 is not instrumented by bootguard" and others. I know was my fault. Please give me a solution. P.S: Sorry for my english, I'm not native and please move this topic if it was not posted properly

1. NO ONE IS ANSWERING THE PHONE ANYWHERE AT SYMANTEC 2. YOUR PHONE SYSTEM IS REPORTING 1 MIN THEN OVER AN HOUR 3. I WAS ON HOLD OVER TWO HOURS 4. I HAVE ANOTHER ISSUE WITH BACKUP EXEC 5. EVEN YOUR SYMANTEC OPERATORS CANT GET THROUGH TO SUPPORT 6. MY ONLINE SUPPORT IS IN AN ORIENTAL LANGUAGE 7. YOUR ONLINE CHAT SUPPORT DOESNT WORK. NOONE IS THERE EITHER I've been on hold all morning. Don't listen to "The Customer Hold the Longest. is X min. It goes up and down and noone ever answers.
