pure disk

Hi Guys

is it possible to create a puredisk storage using external storage mounted on my master+media server.

Server details as follows
Linux Server Suse
Master+Media
90TB File system mounted

    PureDisk as a separate product was discontinued some time ago (as mentioned in Alain Pelegrin's reply to your other PureDisk post).

    NetBackup built-in deduplication is called MSDP.
    It uses the PureDisk technology. The MSDP diskpool is therefore PureDisk type.
    You need Data Protection Optimization license or NetBackup Platform Base / Capacity License.

    Please read through the MSDP guide that I have referenced above.

      sorry i missed that post.

      so are u saying MSDP and Puredisk both are same ?
