Enterprise Vault Search doesn't show all mailbox

Good Morning ,

 

 

i've got a problem with the enterprise Vault web Search.

when i got into the web search page (image attacched) and i try to list all the mailbox i only got a list of part of them.

i've tried to rebuild the indexes without result

 

any ideas ?

what  should i try do?

    Probably because the EVAdmin was a delegate user to people's mailboxes or was part of a group that had access to everyone's mailbox and then was removed By default EV does NOT have access to any archives through search or archive explorer, which is why you'd have to grant them access manually via the VAC or EVPM

    Hello,

    You will only see the archives where you have permission on.

    As test, give yourself permission on 1 archive, try the search again.

    Hi,

     

    i've tried to add permission for the user that i'm using on a user vault,now i see this vault in the list.

     

    but i don't understand something.

     

    i've added permission to vault userA and now i see it.

    on vault userB my user isn't listed in the "permession" tab, but i see it

    on vault userC my user isn't listed in the permission tab  and i don't see it.

     

    2 question :

    why on some user vault i don't have permission but i see them anyway ?

    how can i add permission on all mailbox with 1 action?

    Hello again,

    You might see the archives of users where you have rights on the MAILBOX (i.e. in Exchange)

    that is synced to the archive, but does not necessarily show in the permissions tab of the archive.

    You can check one of those archives by using PermissionBrowser.exe in the EV program folder.

    Look for the archive, then you see what permissions exist.

    i don't understand the reasen why until 10-15 days ago with my user "vaultadmin" i can check the vault of all the users.

     

    now i can't!

    no we didn't change any permession .

     

    one day we try to access archives as usual (from webpage) and the list of avaible archives was reduced at 10  (using the old same user).

     

    if i check permission on this 10 archives with PermissionBrowser.exe i only see owned of the mailbox.

     

    now i'll try to add permission to all archives

    if i add "vaultadmin" to permission on an archive then i can search in that archive.

    but there's something strange,

    on other archive "vaultadmin" has no permission (he has it only on exchange ) and i can search it anyway.

     

    in conlcusion :

    user vaultadmin has the same permission on each EXCHANGE MAILBOX (on exchange server).

    in the websearch of EV i see only determinate Archives (about 10/15 archives, but (on EV) vault admin has permission only on some of them)

     

    i don't know what to do..
