Discovery Accelerator search is not accurate
Hi ,
I have a client which is a financial organization using DA (beside EV), one of their C-level management has access to DA.the issue which was reported to me was that the DA search is not accurate.
I have sat with the management and it seems , that he is comparing the DA search on journal with hits found on their email gateway.
so if May is showing 20 times an email being sent received from an email, He is not able to find 2 hits from the same email on same particular time.
I do not have much experience on DA (if not zero!).I have done below checks:
-EV ,DA,client of DA are all on same version 14.1
-DA databases and services are all working fine.
-I have created a new case and new search with no parameters(filters), but the result is same.
-Journal index volume seems healthy only a couple of them should missing items, I have asked the guy permission to do a index sync, but so far did not get a chance to it.
on DA server, I can see below warning at the time of the search
My question here ,
-should I do search within EV console (on Journal archive) to check the result.(again the IT guy does not have the right to do it so I will need to ask the same manager to it)
-if the above shows correct result, is there a way to follow to fix the issue on DA side.
at the end if anyone has a better approach or probably solution I would appreciate it to share it with me.
PS.Customer does not have active support contract with Veritas :(
