Broken link

I'm in the process to upgraded to 14.5 and was checking the Enterprise Vault™ Compatibility Charts for Microsoft Outlook on the Enterprise Vault server page and verify that Outlook 2016 or later has an index of "6".

This indicates:

"6. Running Outlook 2016 or later on the Enterprise Vault Server requires a patch to increase the reliability of the Exchange Archiving module and may require additional tuning to achieve optimal archiving performance. For details, see https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100054996."

However, the link leads to a blank page stating, "The document you are seeking is no longer available."

I located the page using the Wayback Machine.

Is the patch no longer needed? I don't believe so because the Compatibility Charts were last published on 2024-05-31.
I'm unsure who to notify about this issue.

  • Hi ,
Frankly never faced that issue (or at least no one complained about it so far)

Thank you for bringing it up to my attention,I will look into it. :)

  • I am not sure if you did upgraded to 14.5 or no , and if you did , you faced any issue or no.
but I can share with you that I have upgraded for a few of our clients and they started face issue (right after they have upgraded outlook from 2013 to 2016 and above).
you will register a case with Veritas and they will provide you a patch for this issue.
as a workaround I used a normal script to restart task scheduler (outlook profile was getting full and it was not getting deleted)service.

    cheers,
