ITA - Supported versions of Backup Exec
Can anyone confirm if the latest versions of backup exec are supported in ITA - 21,22,23.24
I have checked the certified configuration guides for 11.4 and 11.5 but they both refer to older versions.
Typically, when a higher version is not listed, it means this has not been certified by Veritas engineering. It doesnt necessarily mean it wont work, but it does mean that support will not consider it a "break-fix" issue if if doesnt. Sometimes the subsystem will work, as the interface has not changed and sometimes it will not work, because there is significant differences that prevent collection from working. I would suggest you try it, and if it doesnt work, you can submit request to have the certification done.
