Hi,
I have a unit of Flex 5150 which is already out of support. Someone before me had it totally wipe out, only left the IPMI boot shell. I'm trying to reinstall the flex OS for this machine.
I have tried to follow the steps here https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/doc/130821112-140800124-0/v141989313-140800124 , however it seems there are more steps than those listed in the link.
Can someone give me some proper steps / guides to achieve this.
what error you get?
was the 5150 in any lock-down mode and had worm instance present before the re-image?

I would go with Flex 4.2 in case NBU version is 10.1.1 or beyond.

In your case you can either use the file with ISO extension or IMG.
ISO is used to boot the appliance via IPMI console.
IMG is used to boot it via USB. The tool like rufus can be used to push IMG in an USB stick.
Once reimage completed, you would need to run "storage-reset". It would fail and the lock needs to be removed manually (support case).
