Hi every one: I want to install VIOM, I never do it before, and my first question is: Where I should do it? In Windows envioroment? or in Linux Envioroment? All my clusters are in Linux Envioroment: Infoscale 8.0 on Red Hat 8.9. Other question: Is it posible install Cordination Point Service in the same server? All my clusters have 2 nodos: node one in one CPD (site 1) and the node two in other CPD (site 2). I think that the new server (VIOM+CP) shultd be another CPD (site 3). Correct? Thanks Jaime.362Views0likes1CommentiSCSI configuration
Hello, Can someone please help me? I am trying to configure InfoscaleSFCFSHA to be used as iSCSI target. In the documentation there is just a few information regarding on how to use the svsiscsiadm command. I have already tried to configure it by running svsiscsiadm config <IQN>, but it fails with the error:v-35-541: failed to online iscsi daemon group on nodes. The targetcli package is installed on all three nodes and the service is started. About CFS Cluster
Hello, I'm trying to understand the concept of a CFS cluster. What advantage does having a disk mounted simultaneously on two servers in a two-node cluster provide? Could you provide an explanation with an example? Even if a virtual IP is provided, it will still be performing read/write operations on the disk of the active server.milaportil9 months agoLevel 2686Views0likes1CommentVmwaredisks resource failed
vmwaredisks resource keeps failing with a log error " Failed to decrypt password " Although the password didn't change from VMware side. what we do : -Hit vcsencrypt -agent command and type the actual password and then take the encrypted output password and replace it in the main.cf file. -After some while the same error keeps popping up for some reason. So any opinions?Yasmeen10 months agoLevel 0743Views0likes1CommentVeritas Infoscale 8 with patch 1800 on RHEL 8 4.18.0-372.32.1.el8_6.x86_64

We are upgrading from Infoscale Availability 7.3.1 to 8.0.2 (RHEL). I'm confused by telemetry collection introduced in 7.4.1. Is it required that telemetry collection be activated during installation? For security, we run a private network that does not have access to the internet so there is no way telemetry collection can be turned on. I would appreciate any clarification.......
