Access 3350 worm enable 8.2.001
Hello, I'm working on a 3350 Access cluster with an MSDP storage provided, not WORM. I'm going to activate the enterprise lockdown mode on it and then I'll convert the existing provisioned storage with the command: Enabling Veritas Data Deduplication with WORM You can enable Veritas Data Deduplication with WORM using the following command: # dedupe enable-worm <minret> <maxret> <config_name> minret Specifies the minimum image retention period. It can contain: [1-9](s|S). maxret Specifies the maximum image retention period. It can contain: [1-9](s|S). config_name Name for the deduplication service. Default value is msdp-engine. Can anyone help me with the command syntax? I can't find the way to specify min retention 14 days, max retention 365 days. Is An Exclude List Supported for the Access NBU Client ?
Hi, I have an access appliance 5350 running 8.1. The NBU client has been configured with NBU Version 10.1.1. Does anyone know if it is possible to set up an exclude list for the client filesystem backups ? There is no option via the CLISH so I was wondering if it was possible via maintenance mode and creating it directly on the access FS. Thanks David
LTR and Search for CDR files on Access Appliance
Hi there, one of my customers, a telco has tons of CDR files than need to be indexed and search for financial audits! We want to fulfill this request with EV and an Access Appliance. EV to index and push indexed CDR files to Access Appliance for retention. The customer should be able to run a query like, "list all cdr files from the year 2020" or "search for all CDR's for a specific telephone number" and restore those file to a specific directory. on the EV server or another location! Can this be implemented with this combination? Thanks for your comments and thoughts in advance!
IBM TS3100 data access simultaneously
I currently have TS3100 tape media changer and I have five LTO-8 tape media. I would like to know can I access the data on the all the media (the five of them) simultaneously after writing/backing up data on them? I want to mount the 5 tapes to be seen as a nominal hard disk (or raid configuration that doesn't matter) and access their data at the same time.
Can not open a technical support case
After I registered an account, I have accessed Support tab to open a technical support case. But a pop up has requested "reset password - Your password has expired. To reset your password please complete the form below". So, I can not finish to open a support case. Although I have changed my password many times. Please help me solve this issue and sorry for my bad English. Thanks for all.
